SOUTH ISLAND TAKE JUNIOR SDC TITLE

In an interesting finale to the 7th Junior SDC tournament, South Island School prevailed over Chinese International School from opposition debating the motion: “This House believes that freedom of expression is more important than religious sensitivities”. In reaching the final, SIS defeated GSIS and CIS were victorious over the hosts, CNDIS.
Audrey Foo from Renaissance College was the tournaments top speaker – the first debater to have won this award at two separate SDC tournaments.
